Exotic turban
The Exotic turban is a fuller silk scarf style that covers the hair and creates a side knot with flowing ends.
What you will need
- a large square silk scarf
- a mirror
Step-by-step instructions
- Fold the scarf. Fold the scarf so the pattern you want to show will face outwards when you place it on your head.
- Cover your hair. Place the scarf over your head and spread it out to cover your hair.
- Gather the loose fabric. Gather the remaining fabric at the back as if you were gathering your hair into a ponytail.
- Form the knot. Twist the gathered fabric, leave a small opening and pull the loose corner through it.
- Adjust the turban. Move the knot slightly to one side, let the loose ends drape over your shoulder and smooth the fabric around your face.
Tip
Leave the scarf slightly loose as you shape it, so the turban fits comfortably without pressing around your head.
