Halter top
A halter top is made from one large silk scarf folded into a triangle and tied behind the neck and at the back.
What you will need
- a square 90x90cm silk scarf
- a mirror
Step-by-step instructions
- Fold the scarf. Fold the square scarf diagonally into a triangle.
- Tie a central knot. Tie a small, very secure knot in the centre of the fabric.
- Slip the scarf over your head. Slip the resulting loop over your head, placing the knot at the nape of your neck.
- Shape the front. Twist the front part of the scarf around itself three times and spread it across your chest.
- Tie the top at the back. Bring the remaining corners to the back, tie them securely and adjust the coverage at the front.
Tip
Check both knots before finishing. They should hold firmly without uncomfortable pressure.
